Venn 30 TCD SL Disc

Venn 30mm Tubeless Carbon Disc filament wound disc brake carbon rims, ‘super light’ version.  Super-light rims are lighter owing the the nature of their layup.  The bed is thinner but then re-inforced individually around each spoke hole.  This means the rim material is better optimised – so it is lighter without being weaker.

The SL rim as of 2026 is now coming in a ‘clear coat’ finish.  The omission of the paint allows you to see the raw finish of the fibre and the finish is more glossy than before.  As a result the weight on the rims has been reduced further.  We weighed 10 rims which generated an average weight per rim of 301.7g.  The heaviest rim was 305g, the lightest was 298g.

The rims come with a 5 year warranty.
