Always refer to the rim manufacturer’s recommendations. DCR alloy rims start at approximately 1.3mm thick. We recommend replacing when worn down to 0.8mm, never go below 0.7mm. While measuring, also check for damage, variations, grooves, wear indicators and other indicators the rim may be worn. If in doubt, check with a professional.
